Journey of an Edo Kite Master, a brand new 30 minutes documentary film about the legendary kite master Mikio Toki in Japan, will be shown at this event (only the second time in the US). 

After the film, he will introduce the history of kites in Japan, the materials and techniques used to build traditional Japanese kites, and differences in design and shape based on regions.

Participation fee: $40 per person (Includes refreshments and snack buffet)

Children under the age of 12 are free, but must be accompanied by an adult. Due to limited space, up to 1 child per paid adult may participate.

This is a special engagement in collaboration with the Japan America Society of Southern California.
