On March 27th, 2015, award-winning Polish cellist Marek Szpakiewicz will play the same program above in Tokyo for the Japanese audience.

The portion of the proceeds from his Tokyo concert will go to the Children's Orchestra organized by El Sistema Japan.

Since its inception, Marek has been supporting the Children’s Orchestra, and last November, he visited the Orchestra to share his musical guidance and performance.

All proceeds from March 7th recital at Azusa Pacific University will be combined with that of his Tokyo concert toward the purchase of a 1/2-sized cello for the Children's Orchestra in Fukushima. This is to promote younger children to join the cello section of the Orchestra.
