Toys for Displaced Children - An opportunity to assist with the recovery efforts, and especially for displaced children, in a personal and culturally appropriate way by sending small toys to one adopted town.
The American Redcross - Accepting donations by through their website and text.

Architecture for Humanity - Architecture for Humanity and its' teams in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto are partnering with other organizations to mobilize around the long term reconstruction effort. Architecture for Humanity has been working in post disaster reconstruction since 1999 and has designed and built hundreds of homes, schools, clinics and community facilities for those affected. To date they have worked in long term reconstruction efforts in Burma, India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Pakistan, Chile, Haiti and the United States.
Disaster Relief Effort for Victims with Disabilities - Some families with disabled members that are in the disaster area of the earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear plant crisis, are not able to stay in the Evacuation Centers due to special challenges of their family member with the disability. Write your name and address clearly, and a receipt for tax purposes will be mailed to you.
