The Grateful Crane Ensemble returns with their nostalgic musical journey going back through time, to the place the Japanese American community began: Nihonmachi (Japantown)

A third-generation manju maker decides to close his 99-year old store, opened by his grandfather in Little Tokyo. The spirit of his deceased grandfather comes to show him the Nihonmachi of old. Popular Misora Hibari, songs of old Japan, including "Koko Ni Sachi Ari", "Tokyo Kid", "Kawa No Nagare No Yoni", "Ringo Oiwake", and "Yaware", as well as nostalgic songs in the states (wartime, 60s, 70s) will be performed.
